We Are Friends

We are not bound, you and I with anything but thoughts
expressed only by our words, yet I have known your spirit
since the beginning and it is pure.
We are free, you and I.
Free to express our very souls one to another without fear
We respect, trust, and love one another.
We demand nothing, yet stand ready to give everything.
Our hearts are free and we are friends.

A Loving Friend

A friend is always there
near or far they always care

A friend will comfort you when you are having a bad day
And they will say, Don't worry everything will be ok

A friend can color the sky blue
And make the day brighter and new

A friend will bring you up when you are feeling down
And make you laugh when you want to frown

A friend shares a special love
And it is a miracle from above

A friend always leaves a mark
embedded deep within your heart 


When I am gone
Remember, how well we got along

If you never see me or talk to me again
Remember, I love you, my friend

When I am no longer near
Remember, there should be no tears

Think about the good times we had
Remember, don't be sad

When you look up at the sky so blue
Remember, I am always with you

But most of all

Remember, I am with the Lord above
and please always
Remember me with Love
